Hi, My father collected a lot of coins through the years and he handed them over to me to eventually sell. I bought a book to start seeing what there is,
however I am quickly becoming overwhelmed. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get started so I don't spin my wheels for hours to realize I should
have been doing something entirely different. My thought was to make an inventory of what there is. Any suggestions regarding the best way to do that? Is there
a good software to use to do this and would doing it on the computer be a better idea vs. writing everything down? (I have a Mac) A far as organizing, I'm
assuming the best way is to do it is by type of coin. The coins are US coins for the most part. Thanks for any advice you care to offer. Also, if there is a
site you can recommend that I should read, that would be appreciated also. I'm completely new to all this, minus about 2 hours.... Many thanks.
