I was searching some coin rolls for interesting coins (nothing but a '51 Canadian penny), and I ran across this 2007 dime that is missing it's 7. From
the look of it I'd guess that this coin just got stuck somewhere and squished a bit, but I'm not sure. If that were the case I'd expect to see some
evidence of the 7, but there's nothing recognizable, and yet the 0 and the rim around the edge are both still there. The back, opposite the date is
flattened too, but looks more like what I'd expect from a flattening event, there is evidence spread across a wide area.
What do you think?
