I have been buying the Presidential Dollars, Have Purchased one roll of each so far should I keep them in the original coin wrapper or move them into clear
tubes? these are the ones you buy from the bank with D mint mark??

It's a personal preference really. Some collectors get a kick out of having the coins unopened in the original bank rolls. Others want to have them in as pristine condition as possible. The inert plastic used in the clear tubes is likely to preserve the coins better than the paper bank rolls. I'd consider what you plan to do with the coins to see what makes the most sense for you. |

I would like to someday give a set of these coins to each of my children and grandchildren so I Guess they would be better in the plastic tubes to keep long term. I don't know if any of the Presidential Dollars will Have much value in the future, but I think they will be a good coin to pass down. |

They do sell coin tubes that fit the roll in its wrapper. I think the 2007 & 2008 will be someday worth a good bit. In 2009 they are suppose to put IN GOD
WE TRUST back on the front of the coin, leaving E pluribus UNUM and the date on the edge. I emailed my supplier if he sells them. Could the Administrator of this site email me if it is ok to post the supplier's web site once I get the info from them on tubes.

I am sorry it took so long to reply. I have been driving my self crazy about this one. I have contacted 14 company's and no luck finding, so i took the
next step I am in the process right now on trying to have whitman or someone possably make them. I find this a bit odd they do not make them. Why would people
not want them??? For now I have got some great feedback on this so far. I was told a film capsule works great also but it worries me about not putting in
non-plasticized tubes. As soon as I have more info I will pass along.
