For over 25 years I've been checking my change and every first coin I see of the current date I put in a 2x2 with the day and location I collected it.
For example, the 1987 cent that I collected at the Houston International Airport in March of that year.
The weird thing is, it sometimes takes until August to get all the coins for the year. You'd think they would circulate more quickly.
What I notice this year I have no clue for. My first and only 2008 cent was on April...

I was searching some coin rolls for interesting coins (nothing but a '51 Canadian penny), and I ran across this 2007 dime that is missing it's 7. From the look of it I'd guess that this coin just got stuck somewhere and squished a bit, but I'm not sure. If that were the case I'd expect to see some evidence of the 7, but there's nothing recognizable, and yet the 0 and the rim around the edge are both still there. The back, opposite the date is flattened too, but looks...

1894 dime

I just got an 1894 barber dime in some change. It has a lot of wear and I can't see if it has a mint mark. What should I do? Are there some with no mint marks or is there a way to tell for sure? Maybe clean off some of the black to see if I can distinguish a letter? Thanks for your time.

Hi, this is my first post of hopefully many. I have two Alexander the Great coins and was interested if anyone has any insight on the origins of each. Both appear slightly different although are both silver drachmas. I thought an image of each would probably help more than anything else. So, here they are, any help is much appreciated. My friend is going to New York tomorrow and i'd like to get her to buy me the last few for my collection! She will be in the touristy areas downtown and staying in zip code 10003-8099 (2 saint mark's place)

Hello gang I found this coin at a local flea market. I went this past Sunday with my father looking for nothing in general. I came across this fellow that had coins. He had all sorts which most I had from the 50's and up. I looked around then I found this 1832 Half Dollar that reads Overton 104 with lettered edge. This coin is a little out of my realm. Looking for a non professional opinion.
I have a 1880 Morgan. Ungraded. (Fine condition. *IMO)
On the reverse it reads at the bottom,"ONE OLLAR."
The D is barely visable. What might it be worth? A die malfunction?

Have a question about the 1982 Penny's.
In the Penny folders they are listed as copper large dt, copper sm dt, zn large dt, zn sm dt, is there a color difference in the copper and zinc coin? if not how can you tell them Apart??
